AUTO SETUP GUIDE

Post by Anfet » Wed Jun 13, 2012 10:54 am

This guide will explain the basics of tracker setup.

COMBAT PANEL
combat.png
1. combat panel
The combat panel is where you configure auto-fighter options. It controls your target selection, regular attack and usage of skills.

Important note: L2Tracker uses ingame macros for targeting mobs, therefore you are required to set up these macros ingame manually, before you start botting. Make sure to make a new macro for every monster in zone where you are hunting.
(/target »mob name«, example: /target Necromancer of the Valley)

After completing all the macros you need, drag them to your shortcut bar.

Image

Target select - how to select targets
  • Skills/Macros - Used for targeting mobs. Click on the empty square and select where on shortcut bar is your »next target« icon (Always add "Next Target" shortcut first!)
After that you need to add the macros (/target »mob name«) which you created earlier. You can see the correct order and macro placement on the picture above (Note: you can add ur macros/next target anywhere to ur shortcut bar, just make sure to connect them with the bot properly.)
  • On Assist - pick a player name to assist him. If player is present in current group, tracker will right click on it to take assist. If you have an alias "!A_playername" setup, tracker will use that alias to take assist.
  • Move to assist - if you have no target tracker will try to move to your MA. (either via 2xLeft clicks or using alias "!T_Playername").
When dead - whats to do when target is dead?
  • Pick next target - self explanatory.
  • from all macros - if checked tracker will pick targets faster, at expense of some accuracy towards nearest mobs.
  • continue pick nearest - while distance to your target is more than specified, tracker will look for next target.
  • and assist more frequently - self explanatory.
  • and move to main - move to MA when target is dead.
Attack target - What to do, after you select target.
  • Attack target - Attacks with specified skill. You can set cast time in next edit box.
(Note: If you are a Fighter class connect this square with your "/attack" icon on ur shortcut bar. If you are a mage connect it with the Skill which you want to use for attacking.)
  • 1st skill - Will be used when distance to target is less than specified in 2nd box. Cast time is provided.
  • Check for mob - The bot checks if your target is really a monster. Useful when you have alot of flagged people around you.
  • Spoil target - self explanatory
Condition
Conditions let you use skills based on target's HP. Here you can add which fighting skills you want your char to use while hunting. For example if you set skill Hammer Crush to use when HP is < than 20%, the bot will only be using this skill when mob's HP condition is on 20% or lower.
(Note: Not usable for buff skills, check the post below for more information on how to set up buffs.)

If unreachable
The target is unreachable when you cannot hit it in specified time.
When you cancel target, you can specify what other skill tracker must use. Useful for stopping summons and pets.

EXAMPLE
If above example:
- Targets are being selected by skills "next.target", F9, F10, F11.
- When target is dead tracker will select new one, from all macros
- Attack with skill "attack" (in alias tab it is F1)
- If target HP > 0 - use skills 2 and 1. (second panel)
- Cancel target, if cannot hit it for 5 seconds.

BUFFS
buffs.png
Buffs panel
"Buffs" panel allows to automate EVERY REPEATED TASK you might need. Buffs/dances etc.
  • Invite type - invite type tells tracker how you want to invite a player if needed. By nick (you will still need to specify alias "!A_Nick" which must point to "/invite Nick" macro), or by skill.
  • Nick - is player name for invite. (Note that you can put here any string you want, just be sure to make alias "!A_Nick" with same string).
  • Buff target - target to take before buffing (useful for direct buffs like prophets). Tracker will look for group member or use alias "!T_Nick".
  • Skill type - is single skill or combo.
  • Skill - self explanatory.
  • Cast - cast of skill (or each skill in combo)
  • Recast - when to recast all sequence.
EXAMPLE
In this example:
- We invite "Naya" in group, select her, and buff will combo, second panel 7,8,9 skills, with cast time 1 sec each. We will rebuff in 20 mins.
- We target "QMi" and buff her with single skill (2,12) 1 sec cast and 5 min recast.
- We invite player with F7, and buff him with (2,8) skill.

MAP SETTINGS
You can configure map options in L2 Tracker via Setup -> Image button. A new window will pop up.

Image
(Map zones configuration window)

To set up map zones correctly, you need to place your character in the center of the zone, where you wish to use bot. When your char is in the middle of the zone press the "Copy from main window" button (marked as number 1. on the screen below). You should see the same picture as ur ingame radar is showing. After that click on the "+" button to set the center (marked as number 2. on the picture below)

Image
- You can increase or decrease radious of your center zone, to adjust desired hunting range.
- Use map zones - Should be enabled in order to use them.
- Move to center - Your charater will move to the center of the zone ( the one u marked earlier)
- Move between zones - You can add more than one zone, using the same process as above. Your char will move between the marked zones if this option is enabled.

Unstuck Options
As you all know, characters can sometimes get stuck while botting, that is why L2Tracker has few integrated unstuck methods.
You should always enable "Return if stranded" and "Always check HP and coords" options, just in case if ur char gets stuck.

FISHING
fish.png
Tab fishing
The fishing tab provides settings to catch fish.
I'll concentrate on not essetial questions.

Game time - type /time in game and specify time for tracker to correctly use daily/nightly baits.
Relogin - after 2 fish (in this example) won't bait, tracker will relogin for specified amount of time. Please be sure to position your character correctly, so that after relogin tracker can resume fishing.

Hook, Weapon, Attack - specify this to instruct tracker to look for mobs and attack them. (the cons here are that tracker can turn in another direction and, simply stop fishing, so I advise to just use potions)

--------------------
IMPORTANT
Please be advised that tracker must detect fish window to correctly fish. To help tracker, start fishing manually and watch for blue 0 near your HP in tracker. If you cannot see it, you need to reset interface (Default ALT+L) to reposition fish window. (please note, that this window can only be reset if it's visible).
If tracker is seeing your fish HP, you will see blue/red bar indicating it's HP.

Windows aka boxed buffers
The windows tab provides support for boxed chars. Boxed chars can assist, heal and buff you.
windows buff.png
Boxed buffer, buffing
Assisting
General actions should be pretty straight forward.

Buffing
Buffs can be done via lower level pane.
Column description:
  • Group - who to invite before buff. (tracker will look for alias !I_Name)
  • Target - skill to be used to target required player.
  • Type - type of buff. Combo/Single skill.
  • Cast/Recast
  • Stop - stop main. If checked main character will stop during buff. (main char won't retaliate on mob attack while buffing)
Leave group - specify this skill to leave party after buff.
Check invite - select this to check for buffer to be actually in group before buffing. This checks is player with buffer name is existing in group.
Method 1 - checks only 1st letter in case name recognition is damaged.
Method 2 - checks if you have 2+ players in group.

Looting/Ressing/Accepting party
Additional 1 tab provides access to following tracker abilities:
  • Looting - specify skill and check desired box for tracker to press loot button when selected conditions are met.
  • Accept trade/invite - check the button for tracker to start accepting invites.
  • Accept resses - check this to start accepting ressurects.
The rest should be pretty understandable.

Redirects
Redirects are key combos that are being sent to your boxed window.
If enabled, SHIFT+X key will be send as X key to your buffer.
redirect.png
Redirecting all shift+f keys to first buxed char
In this example, all SHIFT+All 3 panel keys will be emulated as simple panel keys on your first boxed buffer.

In group healing

Post by Anfet » Thu Jul 26, 2012 11:16 am

If you are playing a healer and could really use some help in healing this big group, you can help yourself with these steps.

Create a task:

Code: Select all

If any (here will be names or numbers of party members) (here is a param HP/MP/CP) sign value (example: If any (0,1,2) HP < 100%)
    - Select player (in detail form pick (N/#) number and in "Player names" select %cr)
    - use skill (heal)
This means the tracker will look at your player list, and select (with mouse) the first player matching condition.
To separate tanks and regular DD, you can create 2 tasks. On with tank name/group number (If any (1) HP < 40%) and another for other members (If any (0,2,3,4) HP < 70%).
